Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, disciplined and student-friendly Boys Hostel Warden to manage the day-to-day administration, discipline, safety and welfare of students residing in the college hostel.

The Warden will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and well-managed residential environment, ensuring hostel rules are followed, addressing student concerns and coordinating effectively with College Management and support teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesHostel Administration
- Manage day-to-day operations of the boys' hostel.
- Ensure implementation of hostel rules, regulations and institutional policies.
- Maintain room allotment, occupancy, student attendance and leave records.
- Monitor student in/out movement and hostel timings.
- Maintain hostel registers, incident reports and other required documentation.




- Coordinate with the College Administration regarding hostel-related matters.

Student Discipline & Welfare
- Maintain discipline and a positive residential environment.
- Monitor student activities and ensure compliance with hostel rules and timings.
- Address student grievances, concerns and interpersonal issues professionally.
- Provide appropriate guidance and support to students.
- Monitor students' general welfare and escalate reliable concerns to Management.
- Counsel students regarding discipline, cleanliness, safety and responsible behaviour.

Safety & Security
- Ensure the safety and security of all students residing in the hostel.
- Monitor hostel entry, exit and visitor movements.
- Coordinate with security personnel and ensure security protocols are followed.
- Handle emergencies such as illness, accidents, security incidents and other unforeseen situations.
- Immediately report serious incidents to the Principal/Managemen
