The Senior Engineer will be responsible for Ensuring the implementation of Quality requirements for Stainless steel ( SS 304/SS316 ) piping fabrication and erection, structural works, pump and other equipment erection and HDPE piping including testing and commissioning for successful completion.

Educational Qualification: B.E. (Mechanical) shall be preferred. / Diploma in Mechanical

ASNT LEVEL II

Overall Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years for Degree holder and 7 to10 years for Diploma holder of experience As QA/QC Mechanical piping (SS /CS/AS / HDPE piping for industrial/ petrochemical plants along with equipment erection,

Desired Experience: Prior experience as QA /QC Engineer fabrication / welding / erection of SS piping and HDPE Piping including testing and commissioning for at least 2 industrial / petrochemical projects.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILTY
- ·Over all responsible for implementation of QA/QC requirements for the project and guide execution team for work execution for Quality aspects.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, specifications, quality requirements for SS piping,



HDPE Piping and other mechanical works.
- Preparation of Quality Assurance Plan and Quality Inspection Plan for the Scope of work
- Preparation of WPS for Piping
- Welder Qualification and getting it certified by client QA/QC
- Material Inspection /MTC verification and clearing the materials with Client QA/QC department
- Work out the Welding consumable requirement and maintain consumption records for consumables
- Day to Day Quality Inspection of piping fabrication, fit-up, welding, NDT, erection, and installation activities at site. Ensure fabrication and erection activities are carried out as per approved drawings, and project specifications and quality requirements.
- Carry out required NDT (DPT/MPT/RT )as per Project specifications
- Ensure proper implementation of welding procedures and quality standards.
