Responsible for operating and programming CMM machines to inspect precision components, mould parts, and tools as per engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program CMM machines for accurate dimensional inspection.
- Inspect mould components, electrodes, and precision parts as per drawings and specifications.
- Prepare CMM inspection reports and maintain measurement records.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and dimensional tolerances.
- Identify dimensional deviations and coordinate with production and quality teams for corrective action.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of CMM operation and measurement techniques.
- Understanding of GD&T;, engineering drawings, and tolerances.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to analyze inspection reports and identify deviations.
1-3 years of experience in CMM inspection, preferably in plastic mould manufacturing or toolroom.
