Position: VMC / CNC Operator cum Setter

Location: Chennai
Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Production Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Set up CNC Turning/Milling machines as per process sheets and drawings.
Load tools, offsets, and work holding fixtures.
Perform first-piece inspection and obtain approval before production.
Operate CNC machines to achieve production targets.
Monitor machine performance and ensure dimensional accuracy.
Measure components using Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
Change tools and adjust offsets as required.
Maintain production records and inspection reports.
Follow 5S, safety, and quality requirements.
Report machine breakdowns, quality issues, and production concerns to supervisors.
Requirements:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of CNC Turning/Machining experience.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
Knowledge of Fanuc control preferred.
Experience in precision component manufacturing.
