About the Role

We are looking for a Assistant Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Tally, basic accounting principles, and be comfortable handling routine accounting entries and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally.
Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Handle bank, cash, and ledger entries.
Assist with bank and ledger reconciliation.
Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
Assist with GST-related accounting and documentation.
Follow up on outstanding receivables and maintain payment records.
Assist the senior accountant in monthly closing and reporting.
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
Support other accounts and administrative activities as required.





Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Good working knowledge of Tally is mandatory.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Knowledge of GST and basic taxation will be an advantage.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.

Preferred Candidate
Freshers with good Tally knowledge may apply.
Candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience will be preferred.
Experience in trading, distribution, or building materials businesses will be an added advantage.
