DUTY HOURS : AS PER SCHEDULED REQUIREMENTS
Unit specific responsibilities
To handle patients of the specific age group (1 month 16 years)
Handing taking over by incharges
Attend all new admissions
Management of sick pat( on oxygen), post op
Ensure Round orders( medicine) timely Administration
Ensure investigation/ Radiology/ consult/ procedure ( MRI,CT,Echo,LP, bone marrow,fluid tapping)
Check consent/ NPO status
Arrange ambulance & staff with the help of Nsg supervisor for safely transportation
Transfer/ shift patients to pvt rooms( check medicine/ consumables in bed side as well as fridge)
Bed management
All special reports inform to Dr Baldeep / on duty
( CSF, MRI, bone marrow etc)Ensure about Medicine Receiving
DocumentationWard inventory responsibility ( o2 cylinder, monitor,



syringe pump,)Ensure Carbolize beds after discharge( Before current admission)check availability of GDA/ house keeping
Meet with patients and explicit queries if any
Write the day / night reports legibly, reflecting all key factors, new admissions, Post-Operative cases, critically ill patients and V.I.P.patients
To do pain assessment and monitoring of the patient periodically
Handing and taking over of assigned patients, drugs and inventory
Setting up special procedures trays, dressing trolleys and assisting doctors
Preparation of the patients for minor, major and emergency surgeries
To perform critical care procedures and protocols
To act as per the defined role on the activation of the emergency codes
Active participation during code pink
To plan the patient care according to patients condition
Early & timely assessment of the patient to detect any complications
Raising of various requisitions related to treatments and nursing procedures by coordinating with ward coordinator
