Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

2. Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions or contraindications.

3. Provide counseling and education to patients regarding medication use, side effects, and precautions.

4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.

Maintain proper inventory control, monitoring stock levels, and ordering medications and supplies as needed.

6. Oversee and manage the compounding and dispensing of specialized medications, including sterile preparations.

8. Stay up to date with the latest developments in pharmaceuticals, drug therapies, and healthcare regulations.

9. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including medication profiles and documentation of interventions.

10. Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and qualified standards, including compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
