Role Purpose

Lead Swift Cargo’s Import FCL business with responsibility for end-to-end
operations, profitability, customer service, carrier relationships and team performance
.

Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Import FCL operations and service delivery.
- Own the Import FCL revenue and profitability for Swiftcargo.
- Drive revenue through current customers and current acquisitions
- Manage relationships with shipping lines, CFS/ICD, transporters and overseas agents.
- Negotiate freight rates, free time and commercial terms.
- Establish and monitor SOPs, SLAs and escalation mechanisms.
- Identify profitable trade lanes, commodities and customer segments.
- Grow Import FCL volumes and acquire/retain key customers.
- Ensure timely documentation, customs coordination and delivery.
- Lead, develop and performance-manage the Import FCL team.
- Track KPIs, MIS, profitability, TAT, customer complaints and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with statutory,



shipping-line and company requirements.

Job Specification
- Proven experience managing and growing large customer portfolios, with demonstrated ability to acquire and retain key accounts.
- Proven track record of customer acquisition and new business development in Import FCL.
- Existing book of business / strong customer relationships within the Import FCL segment will be an advantage.
- Graduate; MBA/PG qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain would be an advantage.
- 15-20
years of relevant experience
in freight forwarding/logistics
- Strong hands-on experience in
Import FCL
.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing
P&L; / revenue / gross profit
would be strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
