Job Summary

IdeaCraft is looking for a
Category Executive
to manage day-to-day category activities, product sourcing, market research, vendor coordination, pricing, and product development for our
corporate gifting, promotional merchandise, branding, and client requirements
.

The ideal candidate should have valuable communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of products and market trends, and the ability to coordinate effectively with brands, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify
new products, brands, and market opportunities
relevant to IdeaCraft's requirements.
- Coordinate with brands, distributors, and vendors for product information, availability, pricing, and quotations.
- Source suitable products based on
client requirements, budget, quantity, and specifications
.




- Compare quotations and negotiate for competitive pricing and commercial terms.
- Maintain and regularly update the
product, vendor, pricing, and category database
.
- Coordinate with the Sales team to provide suitable product options for client proposals and requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for
samples, product specifications, catalogues, images, and delivery timelines
.
- Monitor product availability, lead times, and order status.
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, pricing, and new product launches.
- Support the development and expansion of IdeaCraft's product categories.
- Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance teams for smooth order execution.
- Maintain procurement and category-related MIS reports using
MS Excel
.
- Ensure timely follow-up with vendors and resolve product/order-related issues.
- Support the team in improving
product quality, pricing, availability, and overall category performance
.
