About the Role

We are looking for an **AV CAD Design Engineer** to prepare accurate and standards-compliant AV design documentation, supporting projects from tender and design development through construction and as-built document

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare AV system schematics and single-line diagrams using **AutoCAD**.

* Create rack elevations with accurate RU allocation, power distribution, heat load, and equipment details.

* Mark up architectural floor plans and RCPs with AV device locations, containment, and back-box requirements.

* Prepare cable schedules, device schedules, and I/O lists while maintaining consistent device tagging.

* Create mounting details, bracket sections, and builder's work drawings.

* Manage drawing revisions, drawing registers, title blocks, and issue sheets.

* Coordinate with M&E;, structural, and fit-out teams to resolve clashes and service requirements.

* Support equipment lists, BOMs,



and technical submittals.

* Attend site surveys, record existing conditions, and update drawings for as-built documentation.

Requirements

*1–3 years of experience** in AV, electrical, or building services drafting.

* Robust proficiency in **AutoCAD 2D**, including Xrefs, layers, blocks, layouts, and scaled plotting.

* Ability to read and interpret architectural and M&E; drawings.

* Understanding of AV signal flow, including video distribution, audio DSP, control, and networked AV.

* Good written communication and strong attention to detail.

* Knowledge of **ANSI/AVIXA standards** and AV drafting practices is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
