social impact, government, policy, national affairs, lifestyle and current affairs. We are

looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to manage and grow our social

media presence across multiple platforms.

Job Purpose

The Social Media Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day management, content

publishing, audience engagement and growth of The CSR Journal's social media handles.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of news and digital media, be

highly active on social platforms, and know how to turn stories into engaging social

content.

Minimum Experience - 2 years

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day publishing and scheduling of content across Instagram,

Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube and other relevant platforms.
- Identify important and trending stories and convert them into engaging social

media formats.
- Write compelling captions, headlines, hooks, post copy,



polls and CTAs suited to

each platform.
- Create and coordinate Instagram Reels, carousels, static posts, stories, short-

form videos and other social-first formats.
- Monitor trending topics, hashtags, conversations and breaking news relevant to

the publication.
- Ensure timely publishing of breaking news and high-priority stories.
- Work closely with the editorial, graphic design and video teams to develop social

media content.
- Repurpose long-form articles, interviews, reports and videos into multiple social

media formats.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual/content identity across all handles.
- Actively engage with the audience through comments, messages, polls and

interactive content.
- Monitor social media performance and prepare regular reports covering reach,

impressions, engagement, followers, views and other relevant KPIs.
