Role & responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Performance
- Achieve departmental sales targets and KPIs.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
- Drive conversion, average bill value (ABV), units per transaction (UPT), and customer retention.
- Analyze sales reports and take corrective actions to improve performance.
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability.

2. Team Management
- Lead, coach, and motivate department associates.
- Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and shift scheduling.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline within the team.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of recent employees.

3. Customer Service
- Ensure exceptional customer experience at all times.
- Address customer queries, complaints, and escalations promptly.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
- Promote customer loyalty initiatives and membership programs.

4. Inventory & Stock Management
- Maintain optimum stock levels within the department.




- Monitor stock movement, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
- Conduct cycle counts and stock audits as per company guidelines.
- Minimize shrinkage, pilferage, and stock losses.
- Coordinate with warehouse and merchandising teams for stock availability.

5. Visual Merchandising
- Ensure department displays comply with company VM standards.
- Maintain attractive product presentation and store ambience.
- Execute promotional campaigns and seasonal displays.
- Monitor product placement and signage accuracy.

6. Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with all SOPs, policies, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
- Monitor cash handling and billing processes where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to audit requirements and compliance checks.

7. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and submit sales, stock, shrinkage, and performance reports.
- Analyze department performance and recommend
