Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end data center projects, including design, construction, migration, expansion, and modernization initiatives.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, Facilities, Network, Security, Vendors, and Contractors.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of servers, storage, networking equipment, power, cooling, and monitoring systems.
- Manage vendor relationships, procurement activities, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with data center standards, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
- Conduct project status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Facilitate change management and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead data center migration and relocation projects with minimal business disruption.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, lessons learned, and project closure activities.
