We're looking for an Accountant – Accounts & Finance who can independently manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the overall Accounts & Finance function.
Role Summary
The ideal candidate should have robust, current, hands-on experience with Zoho Books and a solid understanding of accounting, GST, TDS, AP, AR, reconciliations and month-end closing.
Zoho Books experience is mandatory.
Candidates with only Tally experience or basic/familiarity-level Zoho Books exposure will not be considered.
Key ResponsibilitiesZoho Books & Accounting
Independently manage day-to-day accounting activities using Zoho Books.
Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, vendor bills, receipts and payments.
Record and review journal entries and maintain the General Ledger.
Perform bank, customer and vendor reconciliations.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documentation.
Review accounting entries and resolve discrepancies.
Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
GST, TDS & Compliance
Handle day-to-day GST accounting and reconciliations.
Assist with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciliation.
Handle TDS calculations, payments and return-related activities.
Maintain statutory records and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with CA, auditors and external consultants when required.
Ensure accounting and compliance activities are completed within applicable timelines.
