- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
- Perform and interpret routine and specialized gynecological screenings such as Pap Smear, Colposcopy, and Ultrasound (USG) for early detection of abnormalities.
- Manage and treat a wide range of gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, infertility, hormonal imbalances, and reproductive tract infections.
- Provide expert care in fertility management, including coordination with IVF protocols and patient counseling.
- Perform a full spectrum of gynecological surgeries, including:
- Dilation & Curettage (D&C;)
- LEEP procedures
- Hysterectomy (abdominal, vaginal, and laparoscopic)
- Myomectomy
- Oophorectomy
- Tubal ligation
- Pelvic floor repair and reconstructive surgery
- Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy
- Fibroid and ovarian cyst surgery
- Deliver normal vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections with a focus on maternal and neonatal safety.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with medical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including obstetricians, radiologists, pathologists, and nurses, to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients on reproductive health,
contraception, family planning, and preventive care.
- Participate in on -call duties and emergency obstetric care as required.
Requirements
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/MS in OBGYN).
- Valid medical registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical council.
- Hands -on clinical experience in outpatient (OPD) settings with demonstrated competence in gynecological consultations and patient management.
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting ultrasound (USG) scans in gynecological contexts.
- Proven ability to perform key surgical procedures including D&C;, LEEP, Hysterectomy, Myomectomy, Oophorectomy, Tubal Ligation, Pelvic Floor Repair, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, and fibroid/cyst surgery.
- Experience in managing normal vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of infertility management, including IVF coordination and patient counseling.
- Competency in conducting Pap Smear and Colposcopy procedures with accurate interpretation of results.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
- Willingness to work in a quick -paced, patient -focused environment with rotational on -call responsibilities.
