Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition for an established advertising and video production company based in Chennai.

The ideal candidate must have a solid existing network of marketing decision-makers and agencies and should be capable of bringing in projects related to advertising films, corporate videos, brand films, and digital campaigns.

This role is best suited for someone who understands the advertising ecosystem and already has relationships with marketing teams, brand managers, corporate communication heads, and agencies.

Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Revenue Generation
Identify and secure recent projects related to:
Television commercials (TVC)
Corporate films
Brand films
Product launch videos
Digital advertising films
Social media video campaigns
Promotional and marketing videos
Event and internal corporate communication videos
Leverage existing industry connections and client relationships to generate consistent business opportunities.
Relationship Management




Develop and maintain solid relationships with:
Marketing heads
Brand managers
Corporate communication teams
Advertising agencies
Digital marketing agencies
Startup founders and leadership teams
The candidate should ideally have an active network that can generate production opportunities.
Business Development & Pitching
Identify brands planning advertising or marketing campaigns.
Initiate conversations with marketing teams regarding video production requirements.
Present the companys capabilities and production strengths.
Collaborate with creative and production teams to develop proposals.
Negotiate budgets and close projects.
Market Development
Identify emerging brands and companies investing in marketing and advertising.
Build a consistent pipeline of projects through networking and referrals.
Represent the production company in industry meetings and marketing
