What You’ll Do

Inside Sales team supports Avalara’s growth by assisting in lead generation, qualification, and outreach efforts. As a Sales Intern you will help identify potential customers, initiate conversations, and schedule discovery meetings for the sales team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a rapid-paced SaaS sales workplace, with opportunities to learn about customer engagement, CRM systems, and outbound sales strategy.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
Research and identify potential sales prospects using internal tools and external sources.
Learning experience on the latest tools like Salesforce, Drift chats, Zoom Info, Outreach etc
Assist in outbound email and phone outreach to engage prospective customers.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads by gathering basic business information and gauging interest.
Schedule discovery calls and demos for the sales team with qualified leads.
Update and maintain accurate data in Salesforce and other CRM tools.
Collaborate with sales development representatives (SDRs) and account executives (AEs)



to support pipeline growth.
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions to build sales and communication skills.
