Accountant – Surat

Job Summary

We are hiring an Accountant for a client in Surat. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting activities and a valuable understanding of Tally/Tally Prime, GST, MS Excel, billing, bookkeeping, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting records and books of accounts.
Record purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, and payment transactions.
Manage accounting entries and transactions in Tally/Tally Prime.
Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, receipts, and payment records.
Handle purchase and sales entries accurately.
Assist with GST-related accounting and documentation.
Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliation.
Track receivables, payables, and outstanding payments.
Maintain accurate financial and expense records.
Prepare basic accounting reports using MS Excel.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.




Verify accounting entries and ensure accuracy of records.
Complete day-to-day accounting activities accurately and on time.

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent Commerce qualification preferred.
Good knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime.
Basic understanding of GST and taxation.
Positive working knowledge of MS Excel.
Experience in billing, bookkeeping, and reconciliation.
Positive numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
