Purpose/Objective

The Lead – Supplier & Vendor Management will be responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening the supplier ecosystem for nuclear power projects during the project development, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
The role will ensure availability of qualified suppliers, timely delivery of critical equipment and services, contract compliance, vendor performance management, quality assurance coordination, and long-term supply chain resilience.
The position will serve as the primary interface between project teams, engineering, procurement, quality, suppliers, EPC contractors, OEMs, and regulatory stakeholders to support secure, timely, and cost-effective execution of nuclear power projects while establishing a robust nuclear-grade supply chain ecosystem

Key Responsibilities: 1.
Supplier Ecosystem Development - Develop and implement AAEL's supplier and vendor management strategy for nuclear projects.
Identify, evaluate, qualify,



and onboard domestic and international suppliers for nuclear and non-nuclear packages.
Build a long-term vendor ecosystem capable of supporting multiple nuclear units and future fleet expansion.
Drive supplier localization and indigenous manufacturing initiatives in line with national objectives.
Maintain a strategic supplier database covering nuclear island, turbine island, and balance-of-plant equipment.
Procurement & Commercial Coordination - Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams to ensure timely release of RFQs, PRs, POs, and technical clarifications.
Track status of purchase orders and contract milestones.
Support bid evaluations by coordinating documentation and supplier responses.
Follow up on submission of guarantees, warranties, insurance policies, and contractual documents.
Assist in managing change orders and commercial correspondences.
Vendor Qualification & Prequalification - Establish vendor qualification and registration
