About the Role

Godspeed Immigration & Study Abroad is looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Student Counselor to join our Kottayam office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counseling students on overseas education opportunities, understanding their career goals, recommending suitable study options, and converting prospective students into successful enrollments.

Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding Study Abroad opportunities, courses, universities, and destinations.
- Understand students’ academic background, career goals, budget, and preferences to recommend suitable options.
- Handle student enquiries through walk-ins, calls, WhatsApp, and other channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain strong client relationships.
- Achieve assigned monthly admission and sales targets.
- Explain university admission requirements, application procedures, tuition fees, scholarships, and relevant processes.
- Coordinate with internal documentation and processing teams to ensure smooth application handling.




- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, applications, and conversions in the CRM.
- Stay updated on university intakes, admission requirements, scholarships, and study-abroad trends.
- Build trust with students and parents through professional and transparent counseling.
- Participate in seminars, education fairs, student events, and promotional activities when required.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Student Counseling, Study Abroad, Education Consultancy, Immigration, Sales, or a related field.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid convincing, counseling, negotiation, and client-handling abilities.
- Target-oriented and motivated to achieve sales/admission goals.
- Basic computer and CRM knowledge.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Candidates with experience in Study Abroad / Immigration consulta
