Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Staff Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in Power Systems and Energy Management Solutions to lead quality engineering efforts for our Transmission Heritage Product portfolio.

The role is responsible for defining and executing the quality strategy, test planning, validation, and release readiness across complex enterprise-grade transmission applications. The role requires hands-on leadership in product validation, solution testing, defect triage, root cause analysis, and customer issue resolution. Knowledge of test automation frameworks, particularly Playwright, is a strong advantage. This individual will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Services, and Customer Support teams to ensure high-quality customer deployments and operational excellence.

Experience with transmission industry products and utility workflows is highly desirable. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise, system-level thinking, customer focus, and a passion for building a culture of quality.

Essential Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end quality strategy, test plans, validation approach, and release readiness criteria for Transmission Heritage Products.
- Lead system, integration, regression, performance, and customer workflow testing across complex power transmission software solutions.
- Drive defect prevention and reduction initiatives through robust quality processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement programs.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, Services, and Customer Support teams to ensure successful product deliveries and customer deployments.
- Lead defect triage activities, prioritize quality risks, track quality metrics, and provide clear recommendations to leadership teams.
