About This Opportunity:
At Ericsson, we are looking for a Senior Python Developer with deep expertise in Django to join our high-performing Automation Engineering team. In this role, you will play a lead technical role in designing, developing, and delivering robust automation solutions within managed service delivery for our global customers. You will work against approved requirements and high-level design (HLD) documentation to build scalable, high-performance automation applications that meet both functional and business goals.

What You Will Do:
- Lead end-to-end solution design, development, and integration of automation applications using Python and Django
- Architect and build scalable, maintainable backend systems aligned with enterprise-grade standards
- Drive problem-solving and critical thinking across complex technical challenges in managed service environments
- Take complete ownership of automation applications — including codebase,



architecture, access management, and security parameters — ensuring seamless knowledge transfer to relevant stakeholders
- Proactively communicate timely updates to all affected partners regarding any changes, incidents, or new factors impacting deployed automation solutions
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring of junior developers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with solution architects, product owners, and operations teams to deliver results that consistently meet and exceed customer expectations

The Skills You Bring:
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience with a solid portfolio of production-grade applications
- Expert-level proficiency in Django, including Django ORM, middleware, class-based views, signals, and custom management commands
- Deep understanding of Django REST Framework (DRF) for building and consuming RESTful AP
