Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and high-dependency patients.
- Monitor vital signs, neurological status, oxygen saturation, cardiac rhythm, intake/output, and other clinical parameters.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and prescribed treatments safely.
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and syringe pumps.
- Assist doctors during emergency procedures, intubation, central line insertion, CPR, and other critical interventions.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in Code Blue/CPR procedures.
- Maintain strict infection prevention and control practices.
- Perform proper assessment, documentation, and reporting of patient conditions.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts, vital charts, and other ICU records.
- Ensure proper handover of patient information during shift changes.
- Maintain patient safety, including fall prevention, pressure sore prevention, and proper positioning.




- Communicate effectively with patients' attendants and provide appropriate information within the scope of nursing responsibilities.
- Ensure proper handling and availability of emergency drugs, equipment, and consumables.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards.
- Coordinate with doctors, respiratory therapists, laboratory, pharmacy, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the respective State Nursing Council.

Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Experience in ICU/Critical Care will be preferred.
