Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design complete seats for automotive components using CATIA software.
- Conduct DFA (Design for Assembly) and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis to optimize seat design for manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seating systems meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Develop prototypes and test fixtures to validate seat designs.
Job Requirements :
- 2-8 years of experience in industrial equipment/machinery industry, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CATIA software for designing complex mechanical parts such as seats.
- Robust understanding of dfa/dfmea principles and ability to apply them effectively during product development stages.
- Experience working on projects involving foam materials or other soft goods.
