About the Role

We are looking for a talented Shorts Video Editor to create high-quality, engaging short-form content for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms.

The ideal candidate understands what makes short-form content hook viewers, retain attention, and drive shares and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Edit YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form videos.
Turn raw footage, long-form videos, podcasts, interviews, and daily-life footage into engaging short clips.
Identify the strongest moments and create compelling hooks within the first few seconds.
Add captions, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, music, zooms, graphics, and other elements where appropriate.
Maintain fast pacing and solid viewer retention.
Follow current short-form video trends and editing styles.
Create multiple variations of content when required.




Maintain consistent visual and editing quality across the brand's social media channels.
Work closely with the content and social media team to meet daily publishing requirements.
Organize and maintain video files and project files properly.
Deliver edits within assigned deadlines.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software.
Excellent understanding of short-form content.
Solid sense of pacing, storytelling, timing, and visual composition.
Ability to create attention-grabbing hooks.
Good understanding of subtitles, captions, sound design, music, and transitions.
Ability to edit content specifically for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
Strong attention to detail.
