About the Opportunity

Bajaj Parivahan is an established 200+ crore transport, logistics and supply chain organisation with a strong legacy and leadership position in Tea transportation. As part of its next phase of growth and diversification, Bajaj Parivahan is looking for a senior business leader who can independently create, own and scale a parallel business line.

This is not a conventional Sales Head position. The incoming leader will collaborate with the Bajaj Parivahan leadership and leverage the company's existing infrastructure, market credibility, branch network and operating capabilities to establish a significant new revenue vertical.

Key Responsibilities




Build a Recent Business Vertical
Identify and take ownership of a logistics, transportation, warehousing, 3PL, express or commodity-based prospect that can be developed alongside the existing business.
Develop the business proposition covering target market, customer segments, service offering, geography, revenue potential, commercial model, operating requirements, team requirements, go-to-market strategy and risk mitigation.
Deliver Early Commercial Traction
Within the first 60 to 90 days, demonstrate meaningful commercial traction through priority account identification, senior customer conversations, a qualified opportunity pipeline, proposals, anchor customer prospects and initial business conversions wherever commercially and operationally feasible.
Use existing market knowledge and relationships to shorten the time required to establish the new business line.
