Role Description
The CBE Coordinator (Community Based Education Coordinator) is a full time, on-site role based in Maharashtra, India. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring community-based education programs in collaboration with local partners, institutions, and stakeholders. The CBE Coordinator will conduct community outreach, organize educational sessions, facilitate training and workshops, and ensure that learning materials and activities are culturally relevant and accessible. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with community members, tracking participation and outcomes, preparing reports and documentation, and coordinating with internal teams to align community education efforts with organizational goals. The coordinator will also support awareness campaigns, feedback collection, and continuous improvement of community engagement strategies.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Community Education and Education, with experience designing and delivering learning activities for diverse groups.




- Demonstrated ability in Community Engagement and Community Outreach, including relationship-building with local stakeholders and community groups.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and sensitively in community settings.
- Knowledge of the development or social sector, preferably with experience working in rural or semi-urban communities in India.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Development Studies, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including basic data collection, reporting, and use of common digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
- Ability to work independently on-site, travel within Maharashtra as needed, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
