Role & Responsibilities
- Design complex digital products and systems, with a solid focus on System Design and Interaction Design.
- Look at the whole system, connect the dots, and understand how different parts of the product work together.
- Understand user problems and translate them into thoughtful design solutions. Work on design systems at scale.
- Generate solutions both with and without AI tools.
- Use AI tools as a sparring partner and critically evaluate/critique their output.
- Work on products through to launch/shipping.
- Clearly articulate design decisions, including individual contribution, discarded ideas, and original point of view.
- Work on complex product problems where systems thinking and analytical thinking are important.
- Collaborate with the team on building products for a larger digital ecosystem. Participate in face-to-face/whiteboarding discussions as part of the interview process.
For outstation candidates, travel will be covered.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong UX Designer Profile with outstanding systems thinking and interaction design skills
- Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 4+ years of UX experience (with a Bachelor's in Design, 2022 pass-out) or 2+ years (with a Master's in Design, 2024 pass-out) at a product company, with strong systems thinking and interaction design skills
- Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have demonstrable interest and hands-on work in design systems at scale.
- Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have shipped/launched work, clearly outlining their contribution, discarded ideas, and original point of view.
- Mandatory (Experience 4): Must have worked on a complex set of products involving systems thinking, having shipped a couple of them.
- Mandatory (Skill 1): Must be able to use AI tools as a sparring partner and critique their output
- Mandatory (Skill 2): Must have strong analytical skills and be able to work with data, understanding users' problems and critiquing design output
