We are seeking a strict, highly organized, and process-driven Design Coordinator based in India to take full control of our offshore production schedules and deliverables.
In this role, you will be the operational backbone holding the production team accountable for their output. You will own the project master schedule, run all technical coordination meetings, enforce strict deadline compliance across both 12-person design pods, and ensure drawing packages meet studio standards before client submission. When project coordination demands are low, you will actively jump into hands-on CAD and BIM production to support the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Ownership & Stage Planning: Build, propose, and enforce realistic project timelines. You must deeply understand how long each design phase takes (from Concept to Detailed Design and Authority Approvals) to challenge unrealistic estimates and keep production moving rapid.
- Team & Deliverable Management: Direct the Concept and Technical Managers on daily priorities,
milestone handovers, and redline pickups. Ensure no stage is delayed due to poor planning or team bottlenecks.
- Coordination Meetings: Schedule, run, and document all internal production and coordination meetings across design pods, ensuring action items are strictly tracked and executed.
- Production Support (Drafting & Modeling): During non-peak coordination periods, actively assist the production pods with hands-on drafting, redline pickups, detail drawing packages in AutoCAD, or direct BIM modeling in Revit.
- Quality Assurance & Progress Audits: Audit Revit models and CAD drawing packages in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Egnyte to ensure work is progressing on pace and meeting design standards before client submission.
- Dubai Operations Alignment: Lead daily morning standup meetings with Dubai management to report on project status, track client feedback, and realign offshore priorities
