Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Electrician & Maintenance Technician to handle the day-to-day electrical, machinery, utility, and general maintenance requirements of a garment manufacturing factory.
The person will be responsible for ensuring the factory has reliable power, machinery is maintained properly, and all electrical and utility systems are operational throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities1. Factory Electrical Operations
- Switch on and power up the factory electrical systems before production starts.
- Safely power down the factory after production/operations are completed.
- Monitor electrical supply, panels, wiring, switches, lighting, and other electrical equipment.
- Identify and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns quickly.
- Maintain proper electrical safety standards throughout the factory.
- Monitor power consumption and report any abnormal electrical issues.
2. Generator Operation & Maintenance
- Operate and maintain the factory generator.
- Check generator fuel, oil, coolant, battery, and other essential parameters.
- Carry out routine generator inspections and basic maintenance.
- Coordinate generator servicing and major repairs when required.
- Maintain daily generator operation and maintenance records.
- Ensure the generator is ready for use during power failures.
3. RO Water Plant Maintenance
- Operate and monitor the RO water plant.
- Carry out routine checks of pumps, filters, motors, pipes, and electrical connections.
- Monitor water quality and RO plant performance.
- Arrange timely replacement of filters and other consumables.
- Coordinate servicing and repair of the RO plant when required.
