Job Title: Senior Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate and timely financial records.

The ideal candidate should have robust practical knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, reconciliations, taxation, and general accounting principles, along with the ability to independently manage accounting functions

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record and verify purchase, sales, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
- Prepare and review Bank Reconciliations, Ledger Reconciliations, and Vendor/Customer Reconciliations.
- Handle GST-related activities, including preparation and filing of GST returns.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filings.




- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for statutory compliance.
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform regular follow-up on outstanding receivables and payables.
- Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports as required by management.
- Review accounting entries and ensure proper classification of transactions.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory reconciliations.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and other external stakeholders during audits.
- Assist in internal and statutory audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, and company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner.
