The Sales Branch Manager is responsible for achieving the branch’s sales, profitability and customer-service targets. The role includes leading the sales team, improving walk-in conversion, controlling stock, developing local-market business and ensuring smooth daily branch operations.
Sales and Revenue Management
Achieve daily, monthly and annual sales targets for gold, silver and diamond jewellery.
Achieve product-wise weight and revenue targets.
Monitor hourly and daily sales performance.
Improve average bill value through cross-selling and upselling.
Develop corrective action plans whenever targets are not achieved.
Increase sales contribution from both recent and existing customers.
Customer and Walk-in Management
Ensure every customer is welcomed and attended to promptly.
Monitor walk-ins, conversions, walkouts and customer waiting time.
Personally handle high-value customers and difficult negotiations.
Review walkout reasons such as price, design, weight or product unavailability.
Ensure timely follow-up of walkouts,
enquiries and pending estimates.
Build long-term relationships with customers and generate referrals.
Team Leadership
Conduct daily morning briefings and target allocation.
Assign individual targets based on salesperson capability and section.
Monitor employee productivity, conversion and average bill value.
Coach low-performing employees and prepare improvement plans.
Conduct regular product-knowledge and selling-skills training.
Maintain discipline, punctuality, grooming and qualified behaviour.
Motivate the sales team and build a performance-driven culture.
Inventory and Product Management
Monitor section-wise stock movement and stock availability.
Identify quick-moving, slow-moving and non-moving products.
Recommend stock replenishment, transfer or reduction.
