Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineer (GCP)

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, secure, and operate enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. The role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, security, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and customer-facing cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure, including Projects, VPCs, networking, and security controls.
Provision, optimize, secure, and monitor cloud resources to meet reliability and performance objectives (SLOs).
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
Implement IAM, RBAC, resource governance, and security best practices across cloud settings.
Support cloud architecture, capacity planning, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
Troubleshoot platform-wide issues and drive incident resolution.




Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders on cloud migrations, architecture reviews, and technical workshops.

Required Technical Skills

GCP Foundations & Security
IAM, Identity Federation, Service Accounts, and RBAC.
Network security, VM security, Secret Manager, and Cloud KMS.
Expertise in securing multi-tenant GCP environments.

Networking
VPC Design, Shared VPC, VPC Peering.
VPN Connectivity and Cloud DNS.
Firewall implementation and security controls.

Automation & IaC
Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build and GitHub.
Experience building reusable, production-ready Terraform modules.

GCP Workloads

Hands-on experience in at least two of the following:
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Google Compute Engine (GCE)
Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE)
Cloud Run / Cloud Functions

Valuable to Have
Cloud Logging, Monitoring, Alerting, and Aggregated Log Sinks.
