The On-Line QC Inspector is responsible for manual inspection of gloves during the production process to ensure that the gloves meet the required quality standards. The Inspector will check gloves for defects, record the inspection results, identify the type of defects, and report the findings to the QC/Production Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities1. Manual Glove Inspection
Conduct manual quality inspection of gloves produced on the production line.
Inspect 100 gloves every 1 hour as per the defined sampling procedure.
Carefully examine gloves for visible defects and workmanship issues.
Ensure that inspection is carried out consistently and accurately.
Defect Identification
Identify and record defective gloves, including defects such as:
Crack / cracks
Holes
Finger-tip holes
Finger holes
Palm holes
Cuff holes
Pinholes
Tear / damage
Incomplete forming
Surface defects
Foreign particles / contamination
Uneven or improper coating
Other defects identified during inspection
Hourly Quality Reporting
For every 100-glove sample,
record:
Total gloves inspected – 100
Number of valuable gloves
Number of defective gloves
Percentage of positive gloves
Percentage of defective gloves
Type of defects identified
Quantity of each defect
Production line / machine details
Date and time of inspection
Reporting to Supervisor
Submit the hourly inspection report to the QC/Production Supervisor.
Immediately inform the Supervisor if the defect level is higher than the acceptable limit.
Highlight repeated or reliable defects to enable immediate corrective action.
Coordinate with the Production team whenever quality issues are identified.
Quality Monitoring
Monitor the quality of gloves continuously during production.
Identify recurring defects and report them to the Supervisor.
Support the QC team in maintaining the required quality standards.
Ensure proper segregation and identification of defective glove
