Job Purpose

To manage the institute's library and digital knowledge resources and provide effective academic, research and learning support to students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day library operations, circulation, records, shelving and stock verification.
Develop the library collection in line with MBA/PGDM/MMS curriculum requirements.
Coordinate procurement of books, journals, periodicals, case studies and digital resources.
Manage e-books, e-journals, databases and the institute's digital library.
Assist students and faculty with literature searches, references and research resources.
Conduct library orientation and promote effective use of physical and digital resources.
Maintain Library Management System and generate utilization and circulation reports.
Maintain library documentation and data required for AICTE, University, NBA, NAAC and other accreditation/inspection requirements, as applicable.
Prepare and monitor the annual library budget and coordinate with publishers/vendors.
Organize book exhibitions,



reading initiatives and other knowledge-resource activities.
Ensure a clean, organized and student-friendly library workplace.

Qualification & Experience

Essential:
Master's Degree in Library & Information Science (MLIS/MLISc) or equivalent.
Relevant experience in a college, university or management institute.
Knowledge of library automation and digital resources.

Desirable:
Experience in an MBA/PGDM/MMS institution.
Knowledge of academic databases, research tools and plagiarism/citation systems.
Familiarity with accreditation documentation.
