Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Driving supplier quality performance, including new product development and product quality improvement.
Have good knowledge about inspection of various manufacturing process components like aluminium die casting, casting, machining, rubber, tubular components, sheet metal & fabrication.
Have robust knowledge about drawing, GD & T symbol and global engineering standard ASME Y14.5.
Have valuable knowledge about PPAP element.

5.Overseeing the supplier quality and establishing quality control objectives.
Performing quality system audit and PPAP audit.
Maintaining supplier quality records.
Maintain relationship with suppliers.
Promoting initiatives to Improve quality.
Carry out supplier validation audits, with supplier support and supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP).




Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues.
Work with the supplier directly, create correction action plans to address process failures
Review supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities

Technically sound
Good Knowledge of Ms word / excel / PowerPoint is mandatory.
