Education & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any relevant field.
- 5–10 years of experience in warehouse operations (Transport/Logistics preferred).
- Experience in handling large warehouses and manpower is an added advantage.
- Job SummaryThe Warehouse Manager is responsible for overall warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, dispatch, manpower management, safety, and coordination with transport and other departments to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations (inward, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch).
- Plan and monitor space utilization and proper material stacking as per safety norms.
- Ensure timely receipt and dispatch of materials as per schedule.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
- Coordinate with transport, billing, production,



and sales teams.
- Monitor loading/unloading activities and supervise warehouse staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
- Handle warehouse documentation (GRN, delivery challans, gate passes, MIS reports).
- Implement FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and safety standards in the warehouse.
- Identify process improvements to reduce losses, damages, and delays.
- Manage vendor and transporter coordination at warehouse level.
- Train, guide, and evaluate warehouse team performance.
- Handle customer audits and internal audits related to warehouse operations.

Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Good leadership and team-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP/WMS preferred).
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
