Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and academically solid Head of Department (HOD) – BCA to lead and manage the BCA Department. The candidate will be responsible for academic leadership, faculty management, student development, university coordination, NAAC/IQAC activities, departmental administration, research and industry engagement.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the BCA curriculum, higher education administration, NAAC and IQAC processes, and should be capable of maintaining high academic standards while driving continuous improvement within the department.

Key Responsibilities Academic Leadership
- Lead and oversee all academic activities of the BCA Department.




- Ensure effective implementation and delivery of the BCA curriculum.
- Prepare and monitor academic plans, timetables, workload allocation, lesson plans and teaching schedules.
- Monitor syllabus completion and ensure quality teaching-learning practices.
- Review student academic performance and implement improvement measures.
- Coordinate internal assessments, examinations, results and academic records.
- Ensure compliance with university and institutional academic guidelines.

NAAC & IQAC Responsibilities
- Take active responsibility for NAAC and IQAC-related activities within the department.
- Coordinate departmental data collection and documentation required for NAAC/SSR/AQAR.
- Maintain proper records, reports, supporting documents and evidence for accreditation requirements.
