Role Objective

This is a controllership‑first role, with a strong emphasis on financial close discipline, audit readiness, and process stabilization.

The role is designed as a succession path to Financial Controller, making it ideal for a technically solid controller who is ready to step into a broader leadership role over time.

Core Responsibilities

1. Financial Close & Reporting
- Drive and enforce a disciplined monthly close calendar across all entities
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial statements
- Perform and review:
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- AR/AP reconciliations
- Intercompany balances
- Prepare and deliver IFRS‑based consolidated financial statements (quarterly and annual)

2. Controllership & Accounting Operations
- Oversee end‑to‑end global accounting operations
- Supervise:
- Invoicing
- Receivables tracking
- Payables oversight
- Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, well‑documented, and audit‑ready

3. Consolidation & Multi‑Currency Accounting
- Own global consolidation across multiple legal entities
- Manage:




- Intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
- FX translation and remeasurement under IFRS
- Maintain clean, well‑controlled consolidation schedules and supporting documentation

4. Audit, Compliance & Tax
- Lead financial and tax audits across multiple jurisdictions
- Coordinate with:
- External auditors
- Local accountants
- Tax advisors and consultants
- Ensure:
- Timely statutory filings
- Regulatory compliance in all countries
- Robust audit trails and documentation
- Build, maintain, and enforce group accounting policies

5. ERP Governance (Odoo)
- Own finance‑side governance of Odoo
- Strengthen system usage, controls, and data integrity
- Reduce manual workarounds and spreadsheet dependency
- Drive incremental optimizations (not a full ERP rebuild)

6. Fundraising & Due Diligence Readiness (Nice to Have)
- Support investor and lender due diligence processes
- Prepare:
- Data rooms
- Supporting sc
