Job Summary:

The L1 Support Analyst is responsible for monitoring batch processes and providing first-level support for Windows and Linux servers. The role ensures operational continuity by responding to alerts, performing basic troubleshooting, and escalating issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Batch Monitoring:
- Monitor scheduled batch jobs using tools like Control-M, Tidal, Opcon etc.
- Respond to job failures, delays, and alerts within defined SLAs.
- Perform initial diagnostics and escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams.
- Coordinate with application teams for job reruns and schedule changes.
- Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.

Windows & Linux Server Support:
- Monitor server health and performance using tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, or Zabbix.
- Respond to alerts related to CPU, memory, disk space, and service failures.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on Windows and Linux servers.
- Assist in user account management, file system permissions, and scheduled tasks.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams with detailed documentation.




- Vendor and datacenter coordination for Hardware part replacement

General Responsibilities:
- Work in a 24x7 support environment with rotating shifts.
- Update and manage tickets in ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and escalation protocols.
- Participate in daily status calls and incident reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels within the organization
- 3-5 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure support.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019) and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
