TITLE

Senior Manager – Legal/L-7

POSITION GOALS AND KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Research on legal domain areas of various laws & advise suitably.
Ensure drafting of all agreements, negotiations on agreements & finalisation of contracts relating to business of the Company.
Ensure in successful closure of documents/agreements /notices/cases and replies from legal perspective.
Handling of entire regional litigations and legal issues

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role, the following indicative list of responsibilities are included, but not limited to:
Ensure in drafting legal documents/business agreements such as Franchise Agreements, Agency Agreements, Retail Agreements, LoIs, MoUs, Lease Deeds, Leave & License Agreements, Advertising Agreements, Service Agreements etc.
Ensure in due diligence of property title documents
Assessment of stamp duty and registration fee calculation and getting registrations done on Company properties.
Ensure representing Company at all contract negotiations on legal issues.




Research skills & keep abreast of and inform business units on relevant developments in legal areas concerning marketing and retail industry such as Court ruling/s or legislative amendment/s.
Ensure timely drafting replies to legal notices/issues including consumer issues, draft and review of pleadings in litigation.
Support and assist & provide input in operational matters to ensure desired support to the business wherever required.
Ensure/ attend all litigations/cases filed by and against the Company.

Set stretch targets for self and team & rigorously perform to achieve the same.
Be capable of making legal research and legal recommendations to resolve problems or improve process.
