Key Responsibilities
Assist the maintenance team in preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical machinery and equipment.
Support inspection, servicing, lubrication, alignment, and replacement of mechanical components.
Assist in identifying the root cause of machine breakdowns and implementing corrective actions.
Maintain daily maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance checklists.
Assist in maintaining critical spare parts and informing the team about required spares.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules as instructed by the Maintenance Engineer.
Support installation, shifting, and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices in the maintenance area.
Follow all company safety procedures and use required PPE while carrying out maintenance activities.
Coordinate with Production and other departments during breakdowns and maintenance activities.
Learn and understand the operation and maintenance requirements of CNC, woodworking, fabrication, and other production machinery.
Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.
