Role Description

The
Engineering & Maintenance Manager
is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai, responsible for ensuring the
safe, reliable and uninterrupted operation of the factory, manufacturing equipment,



utilities and infrastructure
.

The role will lead all engineering and maintenance activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, facility maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC/AC systems, utilities, fire protection systems and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and monitor
preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance
of manufacturing machinery, utilities and facility infrastructure to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
- Ensure continuous operational readiness of
electrical systems, HT/LT panels, DG sets, compressors, HVAC/AC systems, production utilities and other critical equipment

- Ensure proper maintenance and operational readiness of
fire hydrant systems, fire pumps, fire alarms, emergency systems and other fire protection infrastructure
