Role: Senior network Security Engineer
Location: Trivandrum, KL
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco Routers, Fortinet Firewalls, Fortinet Switches, and Fortinet Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) / Access Points (APs) to ensure network availability and performance.
- Perform configuration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Security infrastructure.
- Monitor network health, performance, bandwidth utilization, and availability using ManageEngine OpsManager Plus and proactively address issues.
- Configure and maintain Fortinet Firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPNs (Site-to-Site and SSL VPN), routing, and threat prevention features.
- Administer Cisco Nexus switching environments, including VLANs, STP, VPC, trunking, routing protocols, and high-availability configurations.
- Manage and support FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer, including centralized policy management, device administration,



configuration backups, log analysis, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
- Administer and troubleshoot Fortinet Wireless Infrastructure (WLC/APs), including SSID management, wireless security, RF optimization, and client connectivity issues.
- Perform firmware upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, configuration backups, and technology refresh activities across network and security infrastructure.
- Provide L2/L3 support, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), resolve incidents and problems, and participate in change and release management activities.
- Create and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, SOPs, operational runbooks, and security standards, while collaborating with infrastructure, server, cloud, and security teams to support business operations and projects
