A Senior Staff Nurse is a registered nurse who provides high-level clinical care, oversees junior nursing staff, and assists ward managers with administrative and operational duties.

Core Responsibilities
- Clinical Excellence: Administer complex medications, perform advanced clinical procedures, evaluate patient care plans, and respond to acute emergencies.
- Team Leadership & Supervision: Oversee staff nurses, healthcare assistants, and nursing students; assign daily patient loads; and mentor junior staff.
- Ward & Bed Management: Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining smooth day-to-day unit operations in the absence of the Ward Manager.
- Patient Safety & Quality Control: Ensure strict compliance with infection control protocols, conduct routine audits, and investigate incidents or patient complaints.
- Communication & Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between physicians, multidisciplinary teams, patients, and their families.

Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)



or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma.
- Licensure: Valid Registration with the state or national Nursing Council (e.g., RN license).
- Experience: Typically requires 3 to 5+ years of active bedside clinical experience in a hospital environment.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are standard prerequisites.

Essential Skills
- Robust clinical decision-making and critical thinking under high-pressure conditions.
- Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, and staff mentorship abilities.
- Deep knowledge of patient safety standard operating procedures (SOPs) and healthcare regulations.
- Clear verbal communication and proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
