Position : Senior Cost Engineer - Costing & Estimation

Location: Anna Nagar, Chennai

Industry: Real Estate (Plotted Development & Infrastructure)

Experience: 5 to 10 Years

Salary : Based on Experience

Key Responsibilities
- Plotted Infrastructure Costing: Prepare detailed civil and infrastructure cost estimates for plotted developments, including roads, stormwater drains, water supply networks, sewage lines, electrical infrastructure, and landscaping.
- Quantity Surveying & BoQ: Review master plans and engineering drawings to prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQs), rate analysis, and material take-offs.
- Budget Tracking: Establish project baselines and manage cash flow forecasting, variances, and cost control reports during the land development phase.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Evaluate contractor bids, negotiate commercial terms, and process monthly running accounts (RA) bills.
- Market Analysis: Track fluctuating prices of construction materials (cement,



steel, asphalt, pipes) in the local Chennai market to maintain an accurate internal cost database.

Required Qualification
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Domain Expertise: Minimum 5 years of verified experience in real estate development, with a strong portfolio in layout infrastructure, townships, or premium plotted developments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and industry-standard estimation software
- Location & Language: Solid familiarity with Chennai municipal regulations, DTCP/CMDA compliance rules, and fluency in Tamil and English.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
