Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases to validate data pipelines and transformations.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across multiple sources and targets.
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Develop Python-based automation scripts for ETL testing and regression testing.
Work extensively with Snowflake for data validation, query optimization, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes by integrating automated test suites.

Preferred candidate profile




Solid expertise in ETL testing methodologies and data warehouse concepts.
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and validation.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data pipelines.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
