We are looking for an experienced
E3D Electrical Designer
to support detailed electrical design and drafting activities for
onshore and offshore facilities
. The role will work closely with the Lead/Principal Electrical Engineer and coordinate with Mechanical, Structural and Instrumentation disciplines to deliver high-quality, clash-free electrical design deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and update electrical layouts and
2D/3D models
covering electrical equipment, lighting, small power, earthing, lightning protection and cable tray routing.
Develop
Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring/schematic diagrams, interconnection diagrams and termination drawings
.
Prepare lighting looping drawings, cable routing plans,
MTOs/BOMs
and material take-offs.
Develop electrical equipment layouts for
switch rooms, topside modules and industrial facilities
.
Ensure designs comply with project/client specifications and applicable
IEC, IEEE,
IS and BS standards
.
Develop
clash-free cable routing and electrical layouts
using
AVEVA E3D/PDMS/SP3D or similar 3D design software
.
Participate in design/model reviews and close electrical layout and cable-routing review comments.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve design interfaces and constructability issues.
Support site queries, incorporate red-marked/as-built information and maintain final electrical documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in
Electrical Engineering
.
5+ years of experience
in electrical design/drafting for
Oil & Gas, Offshore, Power Plant, EPC or similar industrial projects
.
Hands-on experience in AVEVA E3D is preferred/required
depending on project requirements.
Experience with
AutoCAD, PDMS, SP3D and/or MicroStation
will be an advantage.
Solid knowledge of
MV/LV electrical systems, lighting, small power, earth
