Because of you, 1000s of people from your city will volunteer to
help others.
As Team Everest's 'Event Coordinator,' you will
organize volunteering events in your city in schools, colleges,
communities, and corporates.
You will do various types of volunteering events like educational
aid making for kids, tree plantation, career guidance in schools,
and many more.
Love to do volunteering events, but not sure how to do? No worries,
we will guide and train you for your role!
Your work will improve children's world and education. Your work
will save our Earth. Your work will restore hope in life for many
lives. Your impact in this role is literally immeasurable.
You will be one of those directly contributing to Team Everest's
vision, ‘Inspiring everyone to Volunteer.’
If you enjoy organizing events, speaking in front of a crowd,
meeting people & doing good, then this role is for you!
What you
will do?
1. Coordinate and Execute Volunteering Programs: Organize and run volunteering events in your city, both in -person
and virtual.
2. Volunteer Orientation: During events, you will give a quick orientation on what
volunteers need to do in the event.
3. Volunteer Management: Engage with volunteers, and guide
them during the volunteering event.
4. Beneficiary Visits: Visit schools, colleges, and
communities to find and shortlist beneficiaries for our
programs.
5. Partnership Development: Build partnerships with local nonprofits, corporates, and vendors
to support our programs.
6. Vendor
Coordination and Material Procurement: Work with vendors to
get materials needed for events.
7. Data
Tracking and Reporting: Keep track of program progress and
prepare simple reports to share with stakeholders.
8. Project Management: Take care of the overall planning
and execution of programs in your city.
9. Daily Operations: Manage daily tasks and ensure all
programs run smoothly.
Requirements
What We are
Looking for?
1. Education: Graduate or Postgraduate degree.
Degrees in Social Work (BSW/MSW) are preferred but not
mandatory.
2. Volunteering Experience: If
you’ve volunteered before, that’s a plus. It shows your
passion for helping others.
Language Preference:
1. You should be comfortable speaking in Telugu and
English.
Skills required for Job:
1. Interpersonal Skills: You should enjoy talking to
people and building valuable relationships with volunteers,
beneficiaries, and vendors.
2. Organizational
Skills: You should know how to plan well and manage multiple
tasks with a cool head.
3. Adaptability: Be open to changes and flexible with programs.
4. Computer Skills: You should know basic computer skills like
using MS Office.
5. Driving Skills: Owning
a two -wheeler and knowing how to drive will be helpful but is not
mandatory.
6. Work Ethic: You should be
someone who loves to learn, works hard, and can do tasks
independently & with a team.
7. Willingness to Travel: You should be ready to travel within
the city (Once or twice the year outside your city)!
