We deliver creative solutions to complex challenges, including cybersecurity and cutting-edge technologies, ultimately creating long-term value for our customers.nnThe Engineering Manager u2013 Panels u0026 Switchboards will be responsible for leading the ETO (Engineer-to-Order) team, converting switchboard product customeru2019s requirements into customized switchboards. nThis role also involves driving a strong culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement while ensuring successful execution of ETO projects.nnJob Responsibilities:nnu2022 Lead a dynamic team of approximately 12+ engineers, including Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. nu2022 Provide strong technical leadership across end-to-end ETO processes and mentor the team to improve quality, efficiency, and capability development. nu2022 Drive team-level initiatives to build and strengthen organizational capabilities. nu2022 Support hands-on engineering activities as needed and independently execute switchboard product offerings such as General Purpose, IFS, GQC, and Metering Switchboards. nu2022 Demonstrate solid experience and working knowledge of IEC, UL, and NEMA electrical standards. nu2022 Collaborate with global partners for knowledge sharing and develop structured training plans for the team. nu2022 Possess strong technical expertise in LV electrical products, preferably switchboard assemblies and components such as circuit breakers, switches, and fuses.



nu2022 Define and implement robust quality control metrics for ETO projects. nu2022 Expand and enhance team capabilities by introducing additional responsibilities such as sales and CSR support roles. nu2022 Lead and execute Automation and AI-driven initiatives at the team level. nu2022 Ensure effective communication with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment on project goals and deliverables. nu2022 Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through effective leadershipnn## Qualifications:nnu2022 Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. nu2022 12+ years of hands-on experience in switchboard or switchgear design, combined with demonstrated People leadership and a continuous improvement mindset.nn## Skills:nnuf0a7 Strong understanding of Eatonu2019s Panels u0026 Switchboards portfolio, competitor products, and relevant smart solutions. nuf0a7 Excellent leadership skills, including delegation, decision-making, and objective setting, with a strong focus on continuous improvement. nuf0a7 Strong peer relationship skills with the ability to collaborate fairly and effectively across teams. nuf0a7 Action-oriented mindset with high energy and a willingness to take on challenging initiatives. nuf0a7 Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills. nuf0a7 Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities. nuf0a7 Experience working with global teams and partners is an advantage. nuf0a7 Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, and Inventor/Creo. nuf0a7 Certification in DMAIC / Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. n
